Refund Policy
At Cable TV Unlimited, we strive to provide our customers with the best satellite services available. However, we understand that there may be times when cancellations, refunds, or returns are necessary. Below is our detailed refund and cancellation policy.
1. Activation and Installation Fees
- Non-Refundable: Activation and installation fees are non-refundable once the service has been installed and activated. These fees cover the cost of setting up your service and are not eligible for refunds after installation.
2. Equipment Return and Refund
- Refund for Equipment: Refunds are applicable if the service has not been activated and if any physical equipment provided has not been installed. Equipment must be returned within the specified time frame (14 to 30 days) and in good condition.
- Restocking Fees: A restocking fee may apply, which can reduce the refund amount for returned equipment.
- Return Shipping Costs: Customers are typically responsible for paying return shipping costs for any equipment being returned.
3. Trial Period
- Limited-Time Refund Period: Some services may offer a trial period (7 to 30 days), during which you can cancel the service and receive a refund for upfront payments, excluding any non-refundable installation fees.
- Service Refund: If you cancel within the trial period, you may be eligible for a full or partial refund of any subscription fees paid in advance.
4. Pro-Rated Refunds
- Unused Service: If you cancel after the trial period but before the end of your billing cycle, some services offer pro-rated refunds for unused services. This policy varies depending on the service agreement.
- No Refund for Early Cancellation: Once a service has been activated, many third-party providers do not offer refunds for early cancellation, regardless of whether the service was fully utilized.
5. Early Termination Fees (ETFs)
- Long-Term Contracts: Cable TV Unlimited operates on long-term contracts (1-2 years). If you cancel before the end of the contract term, early termination fees (ETFs) may apply. These fees are typically non-refundable.
- ETF Waivers: In some cases, ETFs may be waived if you move to an area where the service is unavailable or if the service provider consistently fails to meet their service obligations.
6. Service Interruptions
- Refund for Downtime: In the case of prolonged service interruptions or significant performance issues, service credits or refunds may be issued. Customers must report issues and follow the provider’s resolution process.
- No Refund for Weather-Related Issues: Satellite services can be affected by weather conditions, and refunds are not typically offered for temporary weather-related service disruptions.
7. Prepaid Plans
- No Refund for Prepaid Services: For yearly or multi-month prepaid plans, refunds are not typically offered for unused portions if you cancel the service early.
8. Digital/Streaming Content
- Non-Refundable Content: Any digital content or streaming services (e.g., on-demand movies, pay-per-view) purchased through the satellite provider are non-refundable once accessed or purchased.
9. Contractual Obligations
- Third-Party Agreements: If services are provided through third-party satellite providers, their specific terms and refund policies apply. Be sure to review the third-party provider’s policies, as they may differ from those of Cable TV Unlimited.
10. Documentation
- Document Everything: Always keep records of equipment returns, service cancellations, and all communication with the provider. This helps ensure a smooth refund process if applicable.
We encourage you to carefully review your service contract and the provider's specific refund and cancellation policies before signing to fully understand the terms of service.
